icky...

Good morning everyone...yep I slept in and forgot to schedule my post last night oops...how are you all and is the weather any better where you are?, I hope so because summer has completely abandoned us here...we went to the cinema last night and because it is ages and ages since we were there I had totally forgotten how noisy people are...why would you pay to see a movie then make so much noise eating and chatting that it spoils it for others lol...anyway 3d glasses on we settled down to watch it and about 20 mins in something caught my eye...the couple next to me were cuddled up she had her legs and feet across his lap and he was rubbing her feet...gross how icky is that and considering how close they were to me very inappropriate...now I have thing about feet I hate to even touch my own so you can imagine how much this grossed me out...Phil's face was a picture when I nudged him lol...I just turned from them a bit but every now and again at an exciting bit in the movie the feet rubbing would get just a little over zealous lol...but beside from that the movie was ok, not the best I have ever seen but not bad and Brad Pitt is ageing very very well...right now onto my card for today...I'm loving these beautiful new Return to Fairy Glen stamps from Sugar Nellie aren't you...this is the cute Live Laugh Love stamp coloured with my usual distress inks and loads of glittery wings...the fab papers are from the Prima 6x6 Tea Thyme paper pad...I love these pretty papers they are so summery and fresh...I finished with a large cream satin bow and a Mini Spray Cream (3 Stems) from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...the fab sketch is from Sketch Saturday challenge (sketch 250) and I'm also entering it for the Ladybug Crafts Ink Challenge and the Craft Your Passion Challenge too...I'm off to catch up with some DT work for next week while I'm away (yes there will still be some posts lol)...whatever your up to today watch out for stray feet...ick

I love red hair...

Good morning everyone are you enjoying sun or showers?...well I got my appointment with the surgeon but isn't it sods law that the first appointment I was given was 2nd July and I have just booked the hotel and Phil booked his time off for going away lol...I got a letter to ring for an appointment and the lovely receptionist and yes she really was nice, friendly and helpful said 2nd July...oops says I, cant do the 2nd we will be away then, ok she says 4th July...oops cant do that either...ok she says how about the 9th...brilliant we have a winner lol, they are like buses you wait ages for one then loads come along at once...so I'm seeing the surgeon on the 9th July, I'm going to talk to him to see if I have to have surgery or if there's something else that can be done instead, surgery is just very final isn't it and if there are any side effects from it are bad then I would rather try some other things first...but I will see what he has to say first before I decide...right now onto my card for today...how stunning is the hair on this fantastic Whiff Of Joy Girls Rule stamp...she is amazing to colour with my distress inks, I have a thing for red hair (Phil had hair this colour when we first met) so she had to have red hair especially with these beautiful papers from the Kaisercraft - Miss Empire 6.5"x6.5" Paper Pad, the tag under the bow is from the same pad too...I added a bow made from beautiful Organza Ribbon - Orange (25mm Wide) and finished with a lush rose from the Kaisercraft Paper Blooms - Sage (10pcs) pack...everything I used on my card today is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...the fab sketch is from the Sweet Stop Challenge and I'm also entering it for the Party Time Tuesdays Challenge and the Ladybug Crafts Ink TLT Challenge too...I'm heading out today, well that's the plan anyway...I would like a new skirt to go with a top Phil bought me a while back for our break away so wish me luck finding one...its always the same isn't it, when your looking for something in particular you can never find it...sods law strikes again lol...whatever your up to today I hope you manage to get out and about and have some fun

who says pumkins have to be orange...

Good morning everyone...oooohhhhh I forgot to tell you yesterday, have a look at Craftin Ireland online Im this months featured crafter, how chuffed am I...well you were all so right I made up yesterday for my lazy day the day before...I emptied all the boxes from the bathroom and toiletries, hung the gorgeous bargain mirror I bought for it (pictures tomorrow), hung the light fitting, built two chests of drawers, made a pasta sauce for dinner and made four cards...phew...that will teach me lol...now I need at least three days off I reckon I'm shattered...it must have been catching too as Phil came home early and decided to paint the trim and step at the front of the house and he did it all too, well all the downstairs trim he will need much bigger ladders for the top one...Phil and ladders don't mix very well he once painted some wood trim on our first house and the old ladders collapsed while he was doing it, he was fine thank goodness but he was totally covered head to foot in dark wood varnish the poor man, plus we never did get all the stain out of the newly laid paving so you can why I'm dreading him getting up there...right now onto my card for today and yes I know pumpkins are meant to be orange but I just couldn't resist paper piecing this fantastic little cutie from CC Designs called Punkin Beatrice, isnt she a real sweetie...I coloured her with distress inks and the lush papers I used for the card and paper piecing are from the stunning My Mind's Eye The Sweetest Thing - Bluebell 6x6 Pad, this is a gorgeous pad...the stamp and pad are from Bunny Zoe's Crafts , I finished with a glitzy bow and a ceramic sentiment...the fab sketch is from the Totally Gorjuss challenge and I'm also entering it for the Ladybug Crafts Ink Challenge and Simon Says Stamp challenge too...its supermarket day today with my lovely Dad, I really should buy shares in that chain lol...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one and watch out for flying varnish

Isnt it amazing what you can find when you look

Good morning everyone I hope your all well and enjoying better weather than we are having...isn't it amazing that we travel the world to see places and things of beauty and never realise whats on our doorstep...after we went for lunch yesterday we decided because there was a break in the weather we would find somewhere for a walk, just 5 miles from our house is the most amazing stretch of beach with the most incredible views for miles and as we got near the water the town in the distance was just bathed in the largest rainbow ever (did you ever wish you had a camera with you) we were gobsmacked at the awesome beauty of it and have vowed to go back armed with a camera this time so there will be photos I promise you...we really must explore a bit further I think don't you...right enough waffle my card for today is for the Bunny Zoe's Crafts DT and how sweet and cute is this little Pink Cat Studio Betty Bugs
stamp I coloured her with distress and glittered her to bits the lush coloured papers are from the Whiff of Joy paper pad, I'm so pleased I bought this pad every single one of the papers is so yummy and that mix of blue and orange is gorgeous don't you think...the sentiment is one of the Whimsy treasured moments tickets sentiment set and all I needed was a fab ribbon to finish...I'm entering this for the City Crafter Challenge , Ladybug crafts ink challenge and Simon says Stamp challenge...what you up to today, anything crafty or are you heading out, my lovely Phil is marshaling for the North West 200 road race today so I may just head for a mooch around town as you never know what you might find do you, whatever your up to have a fantastic day everyone
