bobbing along - Mo's Digital Pencil DT

Good morning everyone, did you all have a good day yesterday, mine was one of those days when you wish you could start again, I spilt a cup of coffee over three finished cards, then my Dad picked me up to go for coffee and when we arrived I didn't have my debit card and wanted to do shopping, so off we trekked back to my house and I couldn't find it anywhere, luckily Dad had extra money on him...I hunted the house from top to bottom, I could remember where I last had it and could remember having it in my hand but could I remember what I had done with it...nope...I even opened up a bin bag full of rubbish...yuck...so decided to forget it for a while and went to do some ironing for our holiday, I was folding shirts and guess what dropped out...yep...now how on earth did it get there...I'm sure I have a gremlin who plays tricks on me lol...and today I'm getting my hair cut, I hate having my hair cut and find it as stressful as the dentists...I think its that thing of having someone else in control...phew rant over...now my card for today which thankfully doesn't have coffee on it, how cute and adorable is this little Waiting for Rain image from Mo's Digital Pencil, I couldn't resist her now could I...I coloured her with distress inks and put just a teeny bit of glitter on to make it look like she was wet, I'm not sure it worked though...the amazing papers are from Echo Park from their Little Boy range and is called Sailboats, wouldn't you think it was made for this image. I cute some of the boats out to finish the Sketch and Stash Challenge which is a free choice so I chose sketch 33, my stash is my papers and image...I finished with a few buttons...I'm also entering this for the Allsorts April Showers challenge and the Party Time Tuesday Anything goes challenge...right I'm going to remake my three cards and then head to the hairdressers, wish me luck...have a brilliant day everyone

aaaaawwwwwwww I had a sickly laptop

Good afternoon everyone, now that seem weird to say afternoon...I had a very poorly little laptop for a while but with a lot of coaxing, care and love its feeling much better now and allowing me to post again...it nearly went out of the window but I decided to be nice to it and it worked...we had a fabulous day yesterday, Phil took an extra day off work and we did a little wandering then our darling Daughter and her other half joined us for dinner, I love those family meals don't you, they don't happen as often as I would like but that means they should be enjoyed even more shouldn't they...right onto my card for today, now how amazingly beautiful is this new Sara Burrier digi from Crafts and Me, its called Morning Glories and is just fantastic to colour although all Sara Burrier's images are...love em...I coloured it with distress inks and put just a little glitter on her wings...the papers are Basicgrey I think as they had escaped from their paper pad, I loved the colours though and thought they matched the image beautifully...I added some of this fantastic lace which I have now run out of and haven't a clue where I got it...oh no drat my jelly memory...of course an image like this has to have a bit of lush satin ribbon and bow doesn't it, its the craft rule...well for me anyway...the sketch is from Sunday Sketch & Stamp and I'm entering this for the City Crafter Birthday challenge and the Pear Tree Designs lace challenge too...well all should be well with my laptop for tomorrow now I have given it some electronic medicine so I'm off to do a bit of painting...whatever your doing today...enjoy

how do you know when you have too many buttons? - Whimsy and Stars Studio Guest DT

when you start dreaming about them lol...Good morning everyone, I had a lovely surprise last night Phil came home at 10.30 how fab is he driving all that way to come home at that time bless him...ok own up, who watched Mamma Mia last night, it isn't my usual kind of film and I haven't seen it before but of course who can resist a sing a long to Abba, not me I sang my little heart out (I bet Phil's relieved he wasn't home to hear me), I did see a couple of cats running past my window with their ears covered but I'm sure it had nothing to do with my singing though, if it hadn't been for the songs it would have been a rubbish film and I wouldn't have watched it in a million years, give me a good sci fi or vampire or horror movie...or even a good action one...love em...right onto my card for today which is for the Whimsy and Stars Studio guest DT...isn't this just a little sweetie of an image, I love the flowers on her dress...this image is called Searching and I coloured her with distress inks...go on guess what make the paper is, go on...yep Echo Park...lush isn't it and the name well what else would it be...Buttons of course...the orange is the reverse, all I needed to finished was some lush soft silk striped ribbon and the only other thing it need...yes...more buttons....I'm entering this for the Simon says Stamp Spring colours challenge (I think this is spring colours I always think of them as bright), Stamp Something circles challenge and the fab sketch is from Tuesday Morning Sketches...I haven't a clue what we will be doing today but I hope wherever you are you have a fantastic day, preferably far away from any excess singing

a bit of advice needed - Mo's Digital Pencil DT

Good morning everyone how are you all...do you have anything exciting happening this weekend...we were going to take out our lovely Daughter to celebrate her new job but my darling Phil rang last night and there has been an emergency and he cant get home this weekend so I have my sad face on :-(...right I need a bit of advice please, do any of you use a lamp to take their photos or use a light box because I am struggling with daylight atm because it seems really wishy washy and isn't showing the bright colours up and as I don't brighten them they look kinda washed out and grey, so any advice as to make, model etc of a lamp to photograph would be greatly appreciated...right my card for today is for Mo's Digital Pencil, I love this party girl don't you...as soon as I saw Veronica I knew I would use yellow for her for some reason I think it suits her...I coloured her with distress inks and the amazing papers are from Bunny Zoe's Crafts they are from the Whiff of Joy paper pad, I love this pad and the sentiment is from the same pad as there are three sheets of them at the back of it, really handy, I added some butterflies and lush yellow velvet ribbon and knot to finish...the sketch is from Mojo Monday, love their sketches don't you and I'm also entering it for the Creative Inspirations Punches & dies challenge and the DYSU Yellow challenge too...btw did you see I have more candy on the go and the winner of the last candy is in the post below...whatever you have planned I hope you have a fantastic day everyone
