just because your paronoid it dosent mean they arent after you...

Good morning everyone, I hope your all well, there's loads of summer colds and sniffles going around atm, I think its all this mixed up weather, one second its roasting hot then cold and raining our poor systems don't know if their coming or going do they...well I went into my craft room yesterday got everything set up to start making cards and thought I better get some clean water, you will never guess what I found floating in my colouring glass...only an earwig...they are defo out to get me...and I took a photo to prove it, its as the very end of this post so be warned...I cant believe that can you and since the beastie episode my windows are closed and the room was sprayed so where on earth did it come from at this rate I'm going to have to start each day spraying myself....right now onto my card for today which is for our new challenge at Just Magnolia & hAnglar & sTanglar challenge which this week is the fabulous Dawny's choice and a fab choice she made...button, bows and blooms...I used this fabulous sitting Tilda I think shes called waiting Tilda but I'm not sure, I coloured her with distress inks and paper pieced her hat and dress...I teamed her up with these super gorgeous papers from the new Kaisercraft Blea and Ivy paper pad that I bought from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, beautiful aren't they...I used some of these lush Wooden Ornaments-Flower Animal 1, I love this set and the flowers are so unusual, I finished with a scattering of buttons, some green ribbon and a bow and gems...the lush sketch is from Cute Card Thursday and I'm also entering this for the Truly Scrumptious challenge of buttons and bows too...I'm off down to the farmhouse on Sunday for a week so I'm rushing round like an idiot at the min trying to get things organised and scheduled for posting on here, oh now there's a thought do you think THEY will follow me down there...uuuurrrrrgggghhhh...whatever your up to today have a fantastic time

I don't think it is a case of you taking them with you Mina, but more one of them following you back from last time! I should check their passports if I were you, lol! Gorgeous card again sweetie, that Tilda is so yummy and looks perfect in her very smart paper pieced dress. Wonderful details too. Love it. Hugs Sxx

It's like a zoo in your house! Stop it with the creepy crawlies.
Made me jump after the spider pic. Kept thinking there was one creeping up my leg!
Freeked me out! serves me right for asking to look at it.
On to your card.
I love how cute she looks sitting there in her dress!
Gorgeous card. Such lovely papers.
Love, Mel. xx

Beautiful card Mina and I love how you used the wooden ornaments. Those papers are gorgeous and I love how you paper pieced Tilda's cute little outfit. Your flying frog card is so pretty. I'm not that keen on any bugs really but Spiders.... really scare me big time! Once there was a huge one running around on our landing and I jumped in the bath screaming... shortly followed by Zoe and Danni who unfortunately inherited my fear! Have a lovely weekend and a productive week next. Hugs, Nikki x

I love the colours and the embellies on this one, Mina! I trust the earwig is suitably disposed of now!? Here's hoping that you don't get any more unwelcome visitors!

Ewwww such creepy wee things, between them and spiders Im not sure which is worse! I think its spiders for me. But we have a wee spray bottle filled with water and peppermint oil drops in it and we spray this around the doors and windows which thankfully keeps our 8 legged beasties away. On a more positive note though, your card is really beautiful, I love the browns and creams together. Lee xx

Lots of very pretty cards, Mina - this one in particular is one of my fave Tildas and she looks really attractive in her paper pieced dress!
Lots of much less pretty bugs, too!
I'm so not a fan of ANYTHING with more than 4 legs. If you have any crysanthemums in your house - that's probably where your earwig came from. They lurve crysanths which is why I won't have them in the house. As for the spider. It's certainly big and leggy but if I can find the photo - I can out do him. Wet cool weather brings out spiders that are so terrible I have considered moving out! They are the well known Arachnasaurus Rex variety and beat yours by both their size and their pure spideriness! Hope the earwig is the last of your pests! Hugs, Lesley

Another gorgeous card Mina. Wouldn't want an earwig in my glass of water.
Just watch out - likely to be lots of earwigs in an old farmhouse! Hope you don't find too many creepy crawlies though, and have a fab week.

Lovely card, I love the paper you've used for Tilda's dress and hat - such a pretty blue.

Well now you know where yesterday's cereal earwig went! Hope that you have a bug free weekend at the farmhouse. Although I've gotta tell you that whole concept just doesn't go with "farm" to me!

Another gorgeous card, really pretty.

I love the gray paper you used for the paper piecing. She reminds me of a girl out of a WWII movie waiting for a train.

PS Earwigs are as ugly as the name suggests. YUK

When I think of Magnolia's, grey doesn't come to mind, but WOW how pretty. So, so cute. Do you happen to have a saddle for that beast?
