something a little different...

Good morning everyone I hope your all well...well the weather set in yesterday and tiddled down all day just about so we didnt go to the seaside instead my Sister took her two little uns to a funfair instead, so I missed out (do you feel sorry for me), my lovely Dad has to go on a Speed awareness course next week bless him, I cant help wondering if he will be the oldest there, but one thing his speeding ticket has done is slowed him down a little bit thank goodness lol, I wonder who the oldest person to ever get a speeding ticket was hhhhmmmmm must google that...my card for today is for our new challenge at Colour Create challenges and this weeks choice is our fab Liz's choice and she chose blue, green, white, red and brown with the added option of adding texture, I used this stunning little In the Bath digi from Mo's Digital Pencil, isnt she beautiful, I did my image a little differently, I printed two extra bubble shapes out in a faded version so they would look like we were seeing the images through bubbles, what do you think does it work Im not too sure but it was fun trying it...I coloured the image with distress inks and teamed her up with these scraps of paper from my scrap box, I love it when I can use up scraps dont you, I think the check is basicgrey...I added some texture with some card scrolls from a christmas sheet of basis grey shapes, glitter and some buttons for a few more bubbles...when I first saw Liz's choice I was a bit worried about it but have a go its a fab combo and works really well together, cant wait to see what you come up with...Im entering this for the CES water challenge and the Crazy 4 challenges challenge...Im off out to the Supermarket with my lovely Dad today and you know what that means, coffee and putting the world to rights...have a wonderful day everyone and if you have time pop on over to Colour Create to check out the rest of our wonderful teams creations

Shame you missed out yesterday.... but am sure you'll enjoy your coffee with Speedy Gonzalez today, though you may have a bit of a job on to put the UK to rights, let alone the world!

My FIL has had to go on 2 speed awareness courses, one last year and one this March and he's 84. We are still gobsmacked as this is that man who's a menace on the motorway and stays in the slow lane and doesn't go over 40mph!!!!!

This is just wonderful, Mina and I think the 'bubble effect' works beautifully - a real masterstroke!
A friend of ours was telling us that his elderly father went on a speed awareness course recently and then got caught for speeding on the way home from it! I'm sure your Dad won't do that and I'd love to hear what he has to say on the subject of the rioters!
